GT Marathon Elite full-suspension mountain bike is well-suited to long days of cross-country, singletrack bliss. Lightweight 6061 monocoque aluminum frame utilizes i-Drive design, which allows rear suspension to move independently of bottom bracket for a fully active rear end. The i-Drive system also smoothes out pedaling on rough trails and minimizes suspension-induced feedback. RockShox Recon 335 suspension fork boasts 120mm of travel with rebound adjustment; alloy steerer provides significant weight savings. Rear Fox Float R air shock with rebound adjustment nearly levitates rear end over rugged terrain and soaks up big drops. Drivetrain is powered by the new Shimano SLX crankset; SLX derailleurs and shifters guide you nimbly through the 27 gear combinations. Avid Juicy 3 hydraulic disc brakes ensure simple, effective management of your speed as well as outright stopping power. WTB Speed Disc XC rims are laced up with DT Swiss spokes to Deore hubs for superbly smooth spinning; Kenda Nevegal tires ensure traction. Cockpit is fully loaded with Ritchey components and topped with WTB Rocket V Comp saddle; Crank Bros Candy C pedals also included. Specs are subject to change.
